Florence JR/SR Auxiliary Gymnasium – Fremont RE-2 School District
As part of the 2022 bond initiative, iiCON Construction and CSNA Architects delivered a transformative solution for Fremont RE-2 School District by designing and building a new 19,392-square-foot auxiliary gymnasium. This addition addressed a long-standing need for equitable athletic and physical education space for middle school students, who previously shared gym access with the high school. The new facility features a regulation gym, elevated multi-sport practice areas, separate locker rooms, and concessions to support both indoor and outdoor events. iiCON’s team remained closely aligned with the District’s priorities throughout the process, ensuring the project stayed within budget while significantly enhancing the student experience.
