Studio West – Performing Arts Renovation

Pikes Peak Community College selected iiCON Construction to transform a former print shop and bike store into a vibrant 9,621-square-foot performing arts facility. The project included significant remediation work to address heavy metal contamination in the existing slabs. Once cleared, the building was completely reimagined with a new art gallery, dance studio, Black Box Theater, multi-purpose room, and general-use classrooms. iiCON handled selective demolition, structural modifications, foundation upgrades, masonry, and the installation of all-new MEP systems. Exterior enhancements included a fresh coat of paint, new ADA-compliant entries, deck space, parking improvements, and site concrete upgrades. This project reaffirmed iiCON’s role as a trusted construction partner for PPCC’s educational and cultural spaces.
