Fremont, CO, RE-2 School District Got More Than They Bargained For

When the Fremont RE‑2 School District asked iiCON Construction Colorado to steward its voter‑approved bond for a new gymnasium, new cafeteria, and new Careers & Technical Education Building, every dollar counted. iiCON’s rigorous cost control and open‑book collaboration turned that budget into a multiplier. By sharing real‑time pricing, value‑engineering options, and clear timelines, the district could confidently say “yes” to more improvements without asking taxpayers for additional money.

The payoff is visible across the campus network. Florence High School now showcases a competition‑ready track and synthetic‑turf field, a new baseball diamond with matching turf and bleachers. Fremont Elementary enjoys fresh, energy‑efficient windows, while Penrose Elementary benefits from upgraded safety and security features. Seven transformative projects, one bond, and zero budget overruns are proof that disciplined planning and true partnership give students and teachers facilities that inspire pride every day.
